Since 1984 FORESHORE continues to provide specialized technical services for the marine engineering and environmental communities. During that period FORESHORE has completed more than 1000 marine and freshwater assignments for government, industry and private clients in Canada and the United States.

Projects included assessments related to docks, dams, piers, ferry terminals, bridges, breakwaters, anchor systems and, large and small industrial installations. This history of work has lead to FORESHORE being recognized as a leading consultant in the field of marine inspection services.

Although FORESHORE's offices and centre of operations in North Vancouver, B.C., the company has completed projects throughout North America including the east and west coasts of Canada, the United States, Alaska and the Territories.

FORESHORE maintains its level of expertise through its full time staff of experienced professional and technical personnel in combination with its continuing development and application of new technologies such as the PEER System.

FORESHORE's experinence in working with the engineering/scientific community affords our clients a balanced approach to projects and insures their timely completion.  Areas of expertise include:

  • Environmental services including onsite monitoring, habitat mapping and evaluation, compensation and mitigation planning, permitting, baseline studies, project review and design.
  • Inspection services including condition assessments of plastic, timber, steel and concrete structures and marine facility layouts including breakwaters and float anchoring systems.
  • Technical services including hydrographic surveying, ultrasonic steel and timber testing and repair strategies.
